	Charles & Kathleen Bartlam were photographers in Court Street, Madeley, Shropshire for many years from around 1900. Although they took a selection of photographs of local events, they primarily took portraits in their studio, of which around 3000 of these original negatives have been saved from being destroyed. These negatives have now been sorted into sections and identified with a unique number. We would love to identify as many of the people in the pictures as possible before we include them in a book, so that we can also include their names as well. This is where we need your help, if you have any family members or old photographs that you know are from the Madeley area, we would appreciate you looking at the images on this website and contact us if you recognise any of them.
